In May 2010, this rum was distilled in the historic, double-wooden pot still at the Diamond Distillery then shipped to the UK where it was aged in once-used bourbon barrels. It continued to mature in the UK until it was shipped to the US for bottling in 2021.
Only 231 bottles of this single cask, eleven-year-old, Port Mourant rum were bottled as part of my Single Cask Strength Collection.
In August 2014, this rum was distilled in the Diamond Distillery's multi-column, Savalle still and put in used bourbon and whiskey barrels. It matured in the UK until it was shipped to the US for bottling in 2021.
